Code Enforcement in Antioch

I just read an article about code enforcement in Antioch. This is what the City of Antioch should do (they won't though):

Have a mobile application developed just like the City of Livermore did. And make it so citizens of the community can report code violations through taking pictures. So all the people sitting around on message boards whining about it can now go and do something. If they're too lazy or can't figure out how to use a smartphone then they should keep quiet. It's as simple as that.

It's 2011. Our focus should be on creating lasting jobs . Not on a group of rejects with over sized motor homes. We might spend $171,000 to restart a code enforcement program? Are you serious? Maybe the local politicians should start reading Google, AntiWood, and Livermore for a change. Save the political grandstanding for Washington.
