I really had high hopes for your site when I first discovered it. I work in Concord and am a big fan of claycord.com and I hoped you would do something similar. Unfortunately, you seem to be making the same mistakes that Koka Sexton (mayorofconcord.com) and others have made. You seem to be more interested in developing business plans, getting advertising and making money than getting the news stories that people want.
The Mayor of Claycord seems to genuinely love getting the breaking news stories before everyone else does. If something is happening in Claycord, people know exactly where to go to find out what is happening. Unfortunately, I have logged onto your site so many times when I've seen a helicopter circling, bad accident, or other big event, and you have never had the answers that I seek.
The Mayor of Claycord developed that years before he got his first advertisers. I wish you well but it seems you are in it for the wrong reasons. I hope you prove me wrong because East County desperately needs a good news blog.
